Image Release Form

An image release form is required to specify what images are being released, to whom and for what purpose. An image or a photograph that needs to be published will have to be given an authorization for publication. The form gives permission for the publication of the image for a stipulated amount of time either in the print media, the audio visual media or internet. It ensures that the copyright laws are not infringed. The owner releases his exclusive rights over the image allowing it to be used for public purposes.
