Dual citizenship is where a person is considered a citizen of two countries under law. Some countries grant dual citizenship depending on the country you obtained prior citizenship.

To qualify as a dual citizen, you must fill in a dual citizenship application form. Sometimes, these forms are usually filled in triplicate for purposes of sending them to your country of origin, second country of citizenship and for Government records.
