Army Release Form

An Army Release form is required when a serving personnel desires to leave the army. This is a discharge form and discharge should not be confused with retirement. Personnel can wish to leave the services due to many reasons like expiration of terms of service, reaching maximum age limit, pregnancy, disability, dependency, resignation, reduction in force, physical or mental conditions that interfere with service etc.

This is the first step towards asking for a release from the armed forces. The form will need o be filled and passed through the proper channels. This form is sort of a formal application requesting a discharge. This form will need to be signed by a certifying official who will substantiate your claims.  This will become a part of your military records and will be filed under the same.
