An amendment to lease form is used to make any modifications in the terms and conditions of a lease contract that has been made between a lessor and the lessee. When either of the parties wants to make any additions or changes to the original lease agreement, be it residential lease or commercial lease, they have to form a written agreement defining those changes clearly and then both the parties must agree to it by signing it. Amendment to the lease may deal with changes in the rent amount or some additional terms and conditions may be included by the lessor in the amendment form.
