A 30 day punchlist form is sent by the builder to the homeowners after they move where the latter fill up details of areas which need repair and are covered under warranty. But this form must be sent to the builder no later than 30 days after the original settlement. After 30 days have passed, no additional items will be accepted or replaced. Upon timely receipt of the punchlist, the builder’s office will send workers to repair or replace those defective items which are causing inconvenience. When buying a new house, owners must check which items have a warranty before they mention them in the form.
